“Be self aware, rather than a repetitious robot”

As I’ve stated before, I want to really grasp CRUD implementation, so I’ve also started a small console game to reinforce my understanding of SQL and CRUD. I don’t want to fly past each one of these projects and come out with minimal knowledge of the subject. The Habit Tracker project for The C Sharp Academy is completed to the point that all requirements are met, and now I am looking to tackle the extra credit challenges this time. However, before I do that, I want to work on this console game first and utilize what I’ve learned to keep it fresh.
I’m currently trying to design how a database with items would work for a game. I’m looking up how MMO’s do it, however their schema is ginormous. I think that’s the thing with Relational Databases of that scale, they just get huge. For someone like myself, just getting into databases, this isn’t much for me to go on.
On a side note, I’m looking at getting a microscope for home. I want to learn more about microbiology because I just do. I loved microbiology in college and want to keep learning on the side. I also would love to clean up my telescope mirror, which I will talk about later, as summertime is terrible here in Arizona for watching stars. I’ll have to make a post later about my science journey.
